Description of the Wellington Building:
Located in the central and historic commercial hub of Verdun Borough opposite to the church metro station and next to the Laurentian Bank, the metro, the prestigious church?, the Wellington Building has become the busiest building of Wellington Street. Inspired by the original plans of the construction and designed by the architect of Archi Design Group, its fa?ade was built by cabinetmaker Mathieu Boudrias of CA Archambault. This wooden fa?ade has character and elegance, highlighting the entire street corner which is of great significance to Wellington Street.
The ground floor houses several businesses, of which the Caisse Populaire Desjardins, Familiprix Pharmacies and Clinics, Sweet-Lee?s Coffee shop and Bakery and In Gamba Caf?. Upstairs, we find the Personal Care Sector Committee, the offices of renowned chef Jean-Fran?ois Marcotte, a day-care center and the prestigious Music & Dance Studio with its exceptional lounge managed by Ms. Lana Ramazanova. The lounge adjacent to the dance studio serves food and beverages after dance classes and shows, much to the delight of the clients.
The Wellington Building has become one of the most attractive buildings on Wellington Street. To this, the renovation project garnered Mr. Denis Leblanc a Person of the Month nomination in January 2014. ?See New Nomination of Mr. Denis Leblanc?.
